Evelyn’s Crackers is a heritage grain bakery in Toronto that has been pioneering whole grain baking since 2008. Founded by a Baker and a Chef, they named the business after their daughter and the humble cracker became the vehicle to their creativity. The goal being to showcase organic heritage grains grown in Ontario by farmers who believed in nutrition and sustainable farming.
Over a decade later, and several dozens of various baked goods later, there is no end in sight to their multiple uses for heritage whole grains. More information can be found on The Grain Project website that is dedicated to explain the history, to advocate for and offer recipes and how to use them.
